11 years ago I had my son done at his pediatricians when my youngest was born January of 2023 the pediatrician said they don’t do it anymore the only options were the “women’s clinic” and some urologists offices. He gave me a list and most said they needed to be done by 4 weeks. We just didn’t have it done.
Why bother? It’s not necessary in any way and can cause serious harm.
Evergreen does it! It’s where I brought my son since the Mercer island guy was so booked and I didn’t want to wait past 2 months for him to have to undergo anesthesia to get circumcised.
I went through MultiCare and they made an appointment for me at a doctor who does them. Did it 10 days after birth. Costs about 600 no insurance and around 340 with insurance depending on who you have.
@Olivia why not just leave your opinion to yourself I’m so tired of judgmental moms. If she was asking for your opinion on it she would’ve but she’s not. Coming from a mom of two boys one circumcised and the other not they are both fine and healthy and that is all that matters. Keep it to yourself and stop worrying about other people’s children.

I’d research a lot more before you do this. It’s not necessary, at all, and the potential lifelong ramifications can be horrific.

Marybridge children's urologist in Tacoma. Our son isn't circumcised but their urologists are lovely. If he's older than a month you'll have a hard time getting it done before 6 months. At that point your baby will need anesthetic and must be 6 months of age. So that's likely why.
I went to Healthy Future Pediatrics in Olympia when my son was circumcised. He was 2 weeks old when the procedure was done. This was back in early November of 2022.
@Olivia motherhood is hard enough without people pushing their beliefs and opinions on you. I bother because I want to! It’s my child! I’ll do as I please. If this isn’t something you agree with you could have kept swiping. Have a good day..
@Olivia it's the same as leaving it intact which in fact does make it alot harder for medical professionals to get a catheter in
Its not necessary and it's better not to in the long run. We didn't do it for our son.

It was 7 years ago, but I know it was a pediatric urologist (I believe a satellite campus of children’s hospital) in Northgate by the mall.
@Eliot that’s not the issue. The issue is my child’s pediatrician was booked so I’m deciding to go elsewhere… I know plenty of men who aren’t circumcised and blame their parents for not doing so. I also had a cousin who got an infection at the age of 10 and that’s when his parents finally decided to get him circumcised to prevent anymore infections… I feel like as woman we shouldn’t be making these decisions as we don’t have a penis we don’t know what it’s like. So I let my husband make the decision and he wants our child circumcised so that is what we will do. I’m glad you chose not to circumcise YOUR child. But this is MY child we are talking about and last time I checked I’m the one that pushed him out 🙃
@Eliot your opinion on where to get it done was asked - not to scorn other mothers for their choice. What ever happened to lifting others up? Scroll on by if you don’t agree. Doesn’t take much to understand that.

@Eliot if my child decides to not speak to me because I chose to circumcise him then hey that’s on him.. this is a routine procedure that more than half of the men in the US get as babies 😂 u think they all don’t speak to their parents because they decided to cut off extra skin that isn’t really needed?? Like I’m sorry but you sound dumb..
