Colic or milk allergy

My 6wk old will feed like normal (sitting abit more upright to help with digestion) and then about 10 mins later he’ll scream out of nowhere on pain and nothing will settle him, we have tried everything colief, infacol, grip water, baby hot water bottle, we’re starting to think it could be a milk allergy, he doesn’t have a rash thought which I thought would have been a big indicator. Has anyone else had the same experience with baby or with a previous child?

My 10 week old wakes up screaming sometimes no idea what it could be takes about 20 minutes to settle her xx

Currently on this journey! My 8 week old was exactly the same from about 4 weeks old. He’d finish drinking his milk then all of a sudden within 15 mins would be severely uncomfortable. He had no rash or any other signs. We thought it was colic at first, so HV advised to put him on comfort milk. This didn’t work as his stools were green diarrhoea. GP put him on a new formula a week ago, as he advised that it seemed like a cows milk allergy - so far it seems he is right as my baby has no discomfort after feeding now! Hope you find a resolution for your little one - it’s not nice seeing them in pain!

Have you considered changing your baby’s milk my little boy was exactly the same. Nothing would settle him after he’d been fed, changed, cuddled, dummy wouldn’t work either. Just non stop crying. He was on aptamil I read up about comfort formulas etc but just ended up switching to a different brand he’s now on hipp organic and is literally a different baby x
