School nursery accident advice please

So my nearly 4 year old was “in an altercation” is what the school said at nursery which meant she now has a cut on her forehead just above her brow bone from a pair of scissors. I have put a steri strip on the minimise the scarring. Question is what should I be saying at parents evening on Monday. I’m not sure how to react. Inside I’m livid and have so many emotions, I need advice.

To add. My daughter said the scissors were been snatched out of her hand my another child. My daughter pulled back and said no and as the other let go it went into her forehead. From what I got out of her. X

I'd probably just asked for a bit more information about what happened.

Hey there! I totally get why you're feeling a mix of emotions about what happened to your little one. It's natural to be upset when your child gets hurt, especially in a situation like this. At the parents' evening, you could express your concerns about what happened and ask for more details about how the incident occurred. It's important to stay calm and gather all the information before reacting. Your main focus should be on your child's well-being and safety. Sending you lots of support during this tough time!

I don’t even think a teacher saw what happened so they’re just taking what the children are saying. X
