Free fluid

Not looking for medical advice!! Just any experiences that might be similar! Hi everyone, I’m very newly pregnant with my 2nd! I had an early scan due to previous pregnancy loss and the nurse found fluid in my pouch of Douglas- Has anyone ever had free fluid in the pouch of Douglas which has ended up harmless and not ectopic? The scan was consistent with about 4 weeks pregnant which is correct by dates so we couldn’t see much at all. My provider said she thinks it’s much more likely scar tissue, she said she could see a string of scar tissue behind my uterus and that it looks like the pregnancy is in the right place but we need to come back in 3 days to confirm. I’m worried sick… no one’s looked at my uterus since I had my son (full term) but I didn’t have any complications during labour and haven’t had surgery’s so I don’t understand how scar tissue could have got there unless it happened during labour? The scan report states gestational sac containing a yolk sac seen in the uterine cavity that means in the uterus right? I guess I’m looking for positive free fluid stories 😩

I have nothing helpful to say due to zero experience with this, except good luck and I wish the best happens for you ♥️

I had free fluid in my POD with my Nov 23 baby! He came out perfectly healthy at 39+3 weighing 9lb14oz!

Note - this fluid only showed up in my private early scan (I was about 6 weeks I think). I asked about it at my NHS 12 week scan and she said all the fluid around baby and in my uterus was fine!

@Sammy wow what a chonk!!! Thank you for sharing! I think all will be okay as she was pretty sure everything was in the right place 🤍

@Katy yaaaay! Happy for you xx

Started bleeding today, I think this might be the end of this pregnancy sadly :(

@Katy oh love. I really hope you’re okay xxx
