Long sleep sessions with snoo

New mum and likely freaking over nothing but my LO is 3 months old and we only just got a snoo because he would wake between sleep cycles and move around like crazy in the bassinet no matter what I did. Now with the snoo he sleeps for 8 hours straight without needing a feed and then another 3 hours! He does much smaller naps during the day like 30 mins.. is it ok to let your baby sleep for so long??? This happened instantly since the first night we tried him in the snoo. Ps can’t believe I’m complaining about long sleep sessions!!

My son would do 8-10 hour sleep session in the snoo before he needed to eat again. Than 1-2 hour than he would officially wake up. My kids get about 10-12 hour of sleep at night. Which is recommended

We moved our daughter into her crib from the snoo right at 3 months and she started sleeping 10-12 hours straight many nights. And for our son who is 3 now I remember moving him to his crib at 3 months too from just a very basic Moses basket bassinet and he also would sleep 10-12 hours straight! I think 3 months is just a very good sleeping age. And then both of them as they neared 4 months started waking up more again. Our daughter is 7 months now and currently wakes up once or twice a night. As long as baby is gaining wait I think it’s completely okay!

Normal. You can let them sleep as long as they like after they hit birth weight. We were getting 8-10 hours straight by 3 months and 10-12 straight by 4 months. 10-12 hours is ideal so soak it up as long as you can and hope you have the same when you transition out. We did at 7.5 months and she kept it up until her molars at 12 months but shes back to sleeping that long now at 17 months too!

Fantastic thank you 🙏

Yep, the joy of a snoo!
