Hi! My LO is 2 years now and I’ve been let down by the system since her birth for her lip tie. I lived in two boroughs since her birth and the health visitors failed to escalate it, as well as the Gp. I eventually did it privately in a children’s clinic with an orthodontist and I wish I sorted it out sooner. If it’s an option for you, going private is a good idea, in my opinion. Through NHS, the process would be for GP to identify that your LO has a lip tie, then they would refer it.
