I've had a rough time with my 3 month old. My first baby only cried when she was hungry so this was such a shock and it's been so hard having a baby who cries all the time while trying to look after my first as well 😩 I've had thoughts of wanting to run away from it all and just dreading the days so I can relate. We've tried remedies for colic which didn't work, and tried gaviscon which worked until it made him constipated and he's now on omeprazole. Praying this is going to help as its so hard ❤️ you're not alone and I hope you manage to find something that helps soon
@Ronda this. My first was a dream compared to my second. Some days I just want to cry cos it’s so hard to hear. Going to ring docs Monday :(
My little girl had colic, we’re only just coming out the other side, I changed her milk to aptamil comfort, I can’t give any other advice other than call the health visitor not the doctors as they quite rightfully told me doctors can only help with a sick baby not a well baby, colic and reflux are both very common in a baby you’re not alone and you’ve got this ❤️
I've had a really rough journey with my baby. He's 18 weeks and has only just started to calm down and will sleep in the pram. We had issues with feeding and weight and turns out he has an allergy. We've tried all the meds. Does your baby have reflux? Or are you unsure as it's silent? Id recommend pushing for omeprazole if it is. It's really helped my baby as gaviscon caused constipation and more crying even though it's been the best thing for his reflux. And trust me, there have been many times when I've thought all sorts of things I'm not proud of but we are really pushed as mums and it's hard enough with an 'easy baby' nevermind one that cries constantly or has medical issues. Message me if you feel you need someone to talk to.
