Stomach cramps

anyone else experienced stomach cramps in their pregnancy? I’ve had cramps for the last couple of days, and they’re not too bad, but making me feel a bit miserable and anxious that something could be wrong. I spoke to a midwife who said it can be a normal symptom, and didn’t seem to be concerned unless there was also bleeding. Don’t remember experiencing this in my first pregnancy though.

I’ve had cramps from the minute I found out until around 12 weeks where they have started to die off a bit xx

I’m 28 weeks and still get cramps now. I had cramps from the very start of my pregnancy and has continued all the way till now. Some advice/info from my midwife: light cramps can be a common symptom during pregnancy, they can be caused by the changes happening in your body as your uterus is stretching to make space for your growing baby. Always get a check up if you feel that you need to and never second guess your gut feeling! But some symptoms to keep an eye out for would be bleeding with the cramps and if your cramps become severe or if they don’t settle with paracetamol x

If you are nearer to the end of your pregnancy, make sure to keep track of your cramps incase they could be contractions! x

Thanks for the responses ladies. Luckily the cramps have gone now, so I guess just another pregnancy symptom for me!
