Epidural site pain months later 👋🏼

Had my little one in April with epidural as pain relief. The last few days the site where they put the epidural has started to really hurt/ feels really weak… mainly if I’m sitting & when I stand from the sitting position, when I’m standing the pain goes away. Up until now I’ve had no problems, just seems to have come on after 5 months. I’m going to book with the GP but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this & if they have any advice 🥹

Can’t offer any advice but I get tingling/numbness if I hold my little boy too long standing up. It goes once I sit down x

@Kirsty hmm, so almost the opposite. That’s interesting to know. I mean I’d definitely have it again rather than labour pain but it does really hurt 😭 x

Mine still really hurts if I touch it x

@Abi oh! Mine doesn’t hurt to the touch might be worth getting checked x

i’ve been really suffering with pain at the very base of my spine/top of my bum! i need to call my GP but i wonder if it’s related to my epidural!!x

Omg same here! I gave birth in April and this aching pain when sitting or bending but as soon as i am walking im fine. Try doing some pelvic floor exercise did help a little.

With my first it was sore to touch for almost a year. Then disappeared. Not sore this time around, even though it took them a few times to get right 🫣

@Abi me too 👀
