Has anyone else claimed DLA for their child?
I sent the forms off back on the 27th June, I was told originally it would be 12 weeks then been told 15 weeks. I had a letter to say they received the claim and then a few weeks back another letter to say they are working on the claim. The 15 weeks is up today and I’ve still had no acknowledgment just wondering if this is normal.
Was going to phone on Monday but didn’t know if it’s an occurring thing due to the amount of claims there are.

We didn't. Didn't get a letter or anything at all but got the payment through first then about 3 weeks later got a message saying they agree ( whatever the wording was) Then no letter for around 2 months after. But some people get a message or the money first then the letter alot sooner than me. You can call and check the outcome though

It is normal yes. You can call up and chase it though. Best to call first thing in the morning though mon-fri
