Reduced movement scan

Hey, I am being sent for a reduced movement scan. They said this would usually have a 48h urgent referral to it. I was referred last night so assuming today or tomorrow? Does anyone know how long you have to wait to get the call? Like will they call me and I have to be within the hour or would they have called me already if the scan was going to be today?

I've not heard of this. My midwife sent me straight to the hospital from my appointment. Call antenatal and check what's happening x

It depends on the hospital to be honest. I had an urgent referral on two occasions. Once because my bump was measuring small and once because of reduced movements. The first time the referral was done on a Wednesday and they called me on Thursday asking me to come for a scan on Friday. The second time they called me a few hours after the referral had been done and I was able to be seen the same day for a scan (I did ask for a quicker appointment when I spoke to them and travelled to a different hospital within the trust)

Depends on the hospital. I went to pinders on a Sunday night for reduced movements, and I got a call around 4 pm on Monday to go to Dewsbury for a scan on the Tuesday afternoon.

Did you call about reduced movements? Which hospital are you under? I went to St James's twice for reduced movements both about half an hour after I called.
