Can’t you take baby with you? Not for the surgery but afterwards?
@Charlotte I was thinking this initially, but they said that a surgical ward isn’t the best place for a baby, and also I feel she’ll feel more comfortable at home
@Mamoona that’s makes sense. Your baby girl will be excited to have you home safe and healthy. Best of luck and keep us updated x
The baby will absolutely not forget you, remember they've been constantly with you for the 9 months in the womb too, you're the most familiar person in the whole world for her! x Bringing something with your smell to them is a good idea, also calling and talking/singing to her might be good - she knows your voice well 😊
I had twins in separate hospitals due to being preemies and I couldn't be discharged due to pre eclampsia, so spent time away from my little boy, so I feel your pain! It'll be okay, having things with babies scent on will help you, and giving baby things with your scent will help baby. Hope you're okay x
