Baby fell out of the bed… again. Help!

I feel absolutely horrible i already called the nurse and im waiting for a call back. But my baby fell out of the bed last month we took him to the ER everything was fine. Then two days ago my bf decided it was a great idea while I was knocked out cold to put him next to me on the bed and say “watch him” when I wasn’t even conscious. He ended up rolling off the bed again. He barely cried seemed completely fine and landed on his stomach then as of yesterday he started throwing up pretty much every time he eats but we started using the ready to feed formula yesterday as well. He’s also starting solids. I’m waiting for the call back but I’m scared she’s going to tell me to go to the hospital again when we had a horrible experience the first time. I’m also scared it might have to do with the fall. I feel like they’re going to call CPS or something bc it’s the second time. But he didn’t fall too far and he landed on the carpet. Ugh I just overthink too much and I’m terrified.

Accidents happen, but I totally understand your fears. Not crying can actually be a bad sign, depending on the situation, and throwing up isn't good. Thank you for calling the Dr, but please, please have your baby checked. I'm hoping the throwing up is unrelated and just bad timing, but if it isn't its so important to get ahead on treatment early. It's more important than your fear of a CPS investigation, which I know is terrifying. I'm hoping for the best for you. Please invest in a better sleep situation ❤️

I would consider whether you can trust your partner to have the safety of your child as his first priority if he’s just leaving him unattended on a bed.

Your partner shouldn’t look after the baby. I can’t believe this happened more then once, I hope your baby is ok xx

Please get your baby checked out, and please do not rely on your partner to be responsible with your child ❤️

I can imagine how worried you must be feeling right now. It's understandable to be concerned, especially after what happened with your little one falling off the bed. It's good that you've reached out to the nurse for guidance. Just take a deep breath and try to stay calm while waiting for their call back. Remember, you're doing your best for your baby, and seeking help shows how much you care. Hang in there!
