Toddler slipped and hit eye on corner of table

Hello mamas. First time mama here, and worried. My son (who will be 18 months this month) I guess slipped on a straw with his socks on and my sister said he hit the corner of his eye on the corner of her table. Does it look deep enough for stitches? Everyone has said no. But i’m worried.

It doesn't look to bad, but you go to the doc to make sure everything is OK. Maybe apply some ice to avoid swelling?

If it’s stopped bleeding then you’re probably fine. And they don’t like to do stitches if it can be avoided so my guess is they would glue it and apply a butterfly bandaid if you were to go in. Maybe even just a butterfly bandaid since it is no longer bleeding.

Doesn’t look deep enough for stitches but may leave a little scar. The red blood pool would be a deeper red if it needed stitches from my experience. Take him in maybe so they can glue it and prevent scarring. My son has had 2 black eyes and 3 busted lips from being crazy at the park, I feel ur pain.
