Symptoms have stopped ?

I'm roughly 9 weeks (still waiting for my 12 weeks dating scan, first time mum) about a week ago all my symptoms have stopped. I had sensitive boobs and nausea, now i have nothing, i don't even feel pregnant anymore! Has anyone else had this anxiety? I'm debating on getting a private scan or maybe order a doppler. Has anyone else used a doppler before and would recommend one? Would be grateful for any advice or shared stories ☺️

Don't go for a Doppler (your midwife should have told you not to at your booking appointment). You may not be able to get it to work and it will just add to your stress. A private scan can be great if you're not too fussed about the cost. But more to the point, this is about the time when your placenta starts taking over and 1st trimester symptoms start to subside so the most likely explanation is that it's completely normal and nothing bad is happening! Xx

@Paulina Thank you! The anxiety is real at this point, constantly worried that something will go wrong ! xx

@Olivia Thank you ! I think i will consider a private scan xx

Dopplers arnt recommended at home nor before 16 weeks.if you do get one. I'll be honest my 2nd pregnancy I felt like this and then just had abad feeling but brushed it off and I ended up having a missed miscarriage but saying that there's alot of woman who have had the same symptoms and healthy pregnancies. Everyone's different. Even this pregnancy is so different from my first

@Sam Oh i'm so sorry that's terrible ! Thank you for sharing, I think i'll steer clear of the dopplers for now and maybe book a private scan x

@Incognito the anxiety is real isn't it?! And sorry to say but it only gets worse from here! Soon enough you'll be worried about not feeling the movements yet. Once you start feeling the movements you'll be nearly constantly worried about patterns, kicks etc. Then, towards the end you'll be worried about how the hell you're supposed to know it's a real contraction not braxton hicks (short answer: you'll know, trust me). And don't even get me started on various worries after they are born. It's just neverending! 😅

Im also 9 weeks and it is agony waiting for my appointment as I also haven’t even been given a date yet so its so hard not even knowing when it will be 😩 I havent had many symptoms at all but someone said to me at 9 weeks they start easing off so if u have never had them its not likely they r gonna start at 9 weeks. I would say the same as the others about having a private scan aswell. I have been mivering my husband for another one as we had one at 7 weeks and everything was fine but the suspense is just awful, know exactly how you feel 😩

@Sheri I had a scan last week as my midwife thought i would be 12 weeks then (which i knew i wasn't) and now im obsessed with wanting to see the hart beat again. I have my official 12 week scan at the end of this month! I think with the symptoms suddenly disappearing i'm just thinking the worst, desperate for any sort of sign/symptom

I felt the same way around that time of my pregnancy, took another pregnancy test which was still positive and 2 weeks later I'm having the worst morning sickness and feel awful. Don't stress too much, you have many options to double check. 🥰

I’ve read on a lot of websites and have told by doctors I work with that your hormone levels peak at about 9 weeks and then start to taper off which can cause a sudden change in the way you feel. Try not to worry ❤️🙏🏼
