Big baby

Hey all! I had a scan today and baby is measuring above 5lb and I’m 32+5. Showing that baby is measuring at 35+6. Has anyone else had this? Also, baby’s head is really low down and i’m getting lots of niggly pains but unsure if it’s growing pains. Has anyone been through similar? Just got it in my head i’m going to go early 🤣😭

I feel the exact same! At my 35+2 scan baby girl is measuring 7lb10oz and I’m praying she comes earlier than my induction in 2 weeks 🤣

My baby was measuring around that at 32+5 and 97th percentile. I had him at 37 + 4 and he was 7lb 30z! He dropped to 50th percentile

They aren’t always accurate don’t worry xx

The baby's head being low is a good thing as it may already in position for birthing. This, however, will put increased pressure on your cervix so you may experience something known as "lightning crotch" or "fanny daggers" which literally feel like how they sound 😅 it's totally normal and unfortunately one of the more uncomfortable side effects of pregnancy!
