A high backed booster made for just that, the seats that are for all ages like the elevate don’t tend to preform well in crash testing xx

He’s only had it a few months. He’s almost 4 and outgrew his joie 360 which my youngest in now in and said we wanted it to be the last one we get so it’ll grow with him until he no longer needs a car seat and was too small to have one without the harness so they said it’s the same just remove the harness and works the same as the ones you buy without x
If he’s only 4 he should still be in a harness seat and ideally still rear facing. Their bones aren’t strong enough to withstand a car accident forward facing in a car seat like this. Our little boy, who is 5 in March, is still rear facing in a Britax Max Safe Pro which will last him until he’s at least 6. I’d personally look into a better car seat x
