Inhaler

Any other mummies got wee ones who use an inhaler with the spacer? How do you managed to keep the spacer on babies face for the full 10 seconds without them ripping it off and getting distressed. I’ve tried to distract with tv etc but she just goes nuts 🫠

I got one for my boy when he was 7ish months old suspected asthma but it was just a virus, it was a hassle then so I can’t imagine how it is now🤦🏼‍♀️😅 I got it from the doctors but when we went to the hospital about a rash the doctor there said under 3s shouldn’t he using an inhaler🤷🏼‍♀️ she was very adamant but then I went back to my doctors and they said it’s fine so it was very confusing. I put the mask on myself first made a big game of it and he didn’t move his head too much just laughed. But it’s stressful right!x

@Bea we’re suspected asthma too with a sever family history of asthma , I know under 3s can definitely use inhalers but only because both me and my sister had infant asthma too 😅 honestly she so strong literally pulls the chamber straight off her face even when I’m holding it on but will definitely try and make it a game see if it makes a difference but agreed very stressful xx

@Rachael thank you for cleaning that up for me❤️ I have bad asthma too but didn’t have it instantly I think I was about 4 aha, awh bless her😂 i definitely underestimated the strength of babies I tell ya🤣 hope the game helps xx

My little girl has one, it helped for us to show her it on teddies, etc but even then still sometimes it’s a trouble x
