@Mariah Both. Much more formula recently as I just had abdominal surgery and couldn’t hold him to him as well as the stress from being readmitted to the hospital made my supply drop like crazy. I’d say he’s about 50/50 right now. He was combi fed before though and never seemed to have an issue. This is his first time :(
First not pooping for a few days can actually be normal. My first went through a phase where she only went once a week and pediatrician said it was fine. I asked if I could give her diluted apple juice and he said it was fine to give her. The apple juice worked within a few days. You have it good though since he’s not in pain. You could also try a hot bath. That’s worked with both kids so far
It could be the formal type, but more than likely, little one’s body is converting everything into urine. It’s not harmful, check in with your ped but don’t stress! My little just got out of a two day no-pooping stint! Apple juice in very small amounts, or there are a few things you can try to help moving it! My Chiro suggested a specific massage and it’s magic! Message me and I’ll explain it!
Have you started with any baby foods yet? They make prunes in stage one of foods that’ll help clean him out! Lol
Haha tour de france is killin me as i was about to say bicycle kicks. 🤣 okay take warm oil and massage his tummy circle wise and at back from up towards bum... give more tummy time and idk if gripe water will help? My mom did vasline on q tip in baby bum lightly... pamper underneath and then he pooped mom put his knee towards tummy for pressure and he pooped tons that we replaced pamper trice. I hope it helps??
