Curls

My babygirl has loose curls and I don’t know how to care for it. Anyone have any good product recommendations??

I don't know if they are baby safe, but for my curls I like ouidad heat and humidity gel, Innersense shampoos and conditioners (they have a great leave in conditioner spray that's excellent for reviving curls after dry), and New Wash rinse and New Wash Balm. I'll typically wash my curls with New Wash the majority of the week and then with the Innersense Shampoo and Conditioner one to two times a week depending on how sweaty I've been. The Innersense deep conditioner is fantastic to use on curls once a week. Moisturized curls are the bounciest. After I'm out of the shower I'll brush them gently wet with a wide tooth comb, I like a rounded wooden one. Then I'll scrunch the curls slightly with a microfiber towel to dry them a bit, this makes them bouncy. Then I put a small amount of the New Wash Hair Balm into the wet curls, scrunching them as I do so. I'll use a diffuser attachment on low heat to dry for extra bounce and fast drying, but air drying with this product works well if you have the time.

When the hair is dry I'll shake it out but not brush the curls. A small amount of Ouidad heat and humidity gel at this stage takes out poof and frizz and keeps the curls from getting puffy. I often have this in a small travel bottle when I'm out and about and will use it to fix my curls if they get in lots of wind or messy. Sprays of the leaves in conditioner can help lock in moisture and revive any curls that got awkwardly scrunched. When her hair is thicker and longer you can put your fingers in gently like a claw at the scalp and shake out the curls for volume at the scalp. The longer the curls are the more they pull down the volume there.

Rizos Curls styling cream and refresher for the mornings or days I don’t wash. Brushing my hair before showering and not afterwards has helped my hair stay curly!

I LOVE skala! I’ve spent a ton of money on different products and this one is affordable and my favorite so far and it’s only two things.
