Nursery drama

Last February I visited several nurseries and read all OFSTED reports and I thought I was sorted. I have found out my nursery was judged inadequate and it was due to issues with the building and poor management. I am a teacher myself and I know how the process work. I have also seen how a provider can be upgraded and downgraded. My friends children go here and they are so happy. The other nursery I can consider is in the opposite direction to work, but I will change if this is best for her but I wasn’t as fussed on the key workers. Should I stick or change? Advice please. Thank you

What exactly are the building issues? Are there hazards or safety issues? Maybe ask a few questions so you can make a more informed decision? Like any workplace, could one disgruntled employee report bad management and then affects it for everyone?

@Tash I think some agency staff were not confident with fire drills and there was a window that hasn’t been fixed. I am not sure what to do.

@Char to be fair, if you got a good vibe from the place, I’d stick with it for now. You’ll know pretty quickly if it’s not the right place for your baby and can swap then.

@Tash thank you. I loved the key workers it’s just the management which has recently changed hasn’t been very good. This was my favourite place.
