Car seat recommendations!

Our little one has outgrown their infant car seat. It’s time get a new one and I’d like one that is forward and back facing adjustable. As our child is still under a year old but height is at the max our current car seat is suitable for and almost at the weight as well.. we have a Nuna pipa urbn infant car seat and it’s nice because there is no base. For the most part I have liked it baby seems to dislike it but I’m not sure it’s just the car baby doesn’t like. Something comfortable and very safe is my top criteria! Wouldn’t mind getting something more affordable but also I do like to have a quality car seat so all recommendations are greatly appreciated!
