I’m ruined

Ever since becoming a mother and went through a little health crisis, I’ve become such a health nut. It’s opened up such a giant can of worms and I’m feeling so overwhelmed with all the information I’m learning and how everything I have. Starting from the cloths that I wear, the products I use to the items I use in the kitchen and the food I eat, it’s all wrong and not healthy. Making this huge change is literally going to be like moving into an empty house made of stone or wood. How do I change everything, and my gosh the money that I’m gonna have to invest in this. My baby has been drinking from silicone bottles but now I’m seeing that silicone is also harmful. Now I need to look into alternatives like glass and stainless steel. But what about the nipple she’ll be sucking from? So many things to find out and change. I’m just overwhelmed. Plus I have to deal with an emotionally cheating husband who claims he’ll change but never does in the past 10 years (my idiot ass for giving him chance after chance). That took a turn lol I’m just exhausted 😩

Girl i feel you. Just remember that the internet will provide you with a plethora of reasons why EVERYTHING is harmful. You can even google "why is it unhealthy to let a baby look in the mirror" and it will give you a whole list of reasons why 😅 Make informed decisions based in science by reading peer reviewed articles and not falling for every fear mongering scam that's out there. When it comes to making your home a less toxin filled place start one step at a time. If your cooking a healthy meal and using a plastic cutting board to prepare, don't assume that the healthy meal is all for waste! Ya know what I mean, just start with small steps and don't worry throwing everything out all at once.

As for the husband... I wish you all the best of luck in figuring out what's the best for you and baby ❤️❤️‍🩹

I totally know what you mean One step at a time I suppose I just saw your profile and were like twins haha. Wish we could be buddies!

I know not everything is great but you need to start slow and small. And then some things don’t have alert natives like the bottles. Silicone is the best besides glass but obviously babies can’t just always use glass or they break so silicone is great too especially for the nipples. So you just have to do what you got to do. Just learn things and change what you can. But sometimes you might not have the money for something. Don’t just replace everything right away. Use something up and then replace. Be better for the environment too and your wallet

Message me and we can talk more! I’m always interested in learning more ways to be healthy and less toxic!
