High bmi private scan

Anyone with bmi over 40 who's had a private scan? Just wondering if it's worth it in term if better view and scans etc? My recent scans on nhs has been awful or blurry

I found my private scans amazing compared to my nhs, the vibe from nhs I got was we are here to do a job, tick boxes etc, private was more personal worth the money

Found private scans to be a much better quality. They will also spend much more time showing you, and letting you watch and see. You can always have an internal scan where you will always see much much more! I have had 2 in the past, they’re maybe slightly uncomfortable but not painful in anyway!

Had a private scan with the internal and we could see pretty clearly, could even see baby’s eyes and face at 13 weeks. It is a bit uncomfortable so harder to relax and enjoy it, plus they will tell you to not move/laugh etc because it can change the view 😬 my hubby kept making me laugh at the wrong moment and I felt very awkward with them all being down there and my legs in the air 🙈
