Car Seat Quest

I have a doona car seat, At what age do we change the car seat? What is a good car seat for 1 year old baby?

Commenting to stay in this thread because I have the same question!

The infant seats until a particular weight, they need to be backward facing until I specific height and I think 40 pounds but not positive. Ask the pediatrician though.

once they max out on max height or weight that’s listed for the carseat whichever comes first we have the graco extend2fit 3in1 which is one of the seats where you can rear face the longest

It's not at an age, you will change depending on your baby height and weight! Doona website says 35 pounds or 32 inches tall. That probably will be when the baby is around 1 year old, but all depends on on your baby! I had a Nuna Pipa Infant seat and my baby is now 9 months old. She is on the taller side, so I decided to switch her to a convertible carseat now. We went with the Nuna Rava Which can be used from 5 pounds to 65 pounds (forward facing).
