Baby MRI
My LG is due to have an MRI and they’ve told me they’ll need to do light sedation and put her to sleep for it. Anyone else’s LO had an MRI? How did it go? How were they? I’m feeling so sad and anxious for her 😢

I think I’m most worried about the sedation but thank you for sharing! Hope your little bubba is well xx

Hiya, my LO had an MRI when she was 6 weeks old - so not quite the same as she didn't need sedation (she was asleep for it anyway I think!)....but I understand the anxiety, I felt so sad and anxious, especially seeing her go in! In terms of the scan itself they said I could go in the room with her if I wanted and I was able to ask lots of questions, which helped pute at ease. I'd just remind yourself they won't remember this at all and it will probably be worse for you than her...maybe have some of her favourite toys etc at the ready before and after but am sure it will be over before you know it.
