Baby clothes washing

So I’m 23 weeks and have been nesting a little early lol I have done a load of my sons washing and the lady I work for says it’s way to early and I’m only gonna have to do them again but his clothes are in a box and my wardrobe where they can’t get dirty or start to smell is it the truth that I have to do it again

I asked this on another group and most people told me to get them washed as soon as I can so that they’re done, one less thing to do 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Aleena exactly I just wanted to be prepared

Maybe a little too early as he might be allergic to some detergents xx

@Annie we haven’t got anything for our little girl yet we are waiting till January to get all her clothes as we don’t want them sitting around for a while xx

I’ve been thinking about washing the clothes early as well so I can put them away. All the packing and tags are getting in my nerves lol

Don’t listen to people 😂 as long as they’re not stored somewhere they can get dirty then you’re fine! With my daughter I washed them over time so that I wasn’t having to go them all in one go then just stored them. If you wash them with all non bio stuff you’ll not have any issues with allergies etc or it’s very unlikely anyways. With this baby I’m going to buy all the clothes first then start washing which will be in the next few weeks as we’re close to having everything. People are quick to put their opinions in but as long as it’s not something harmful just do it how you want to x

@Rebecca I have washed his clothes in fairy non bio it’s all fairy non bio

Yes wash wash wash! Saves so much hassle cause youll be huge in january and wont have energy to do it all! Its going in a drawer/wardrobe same as any other persons clothes so will be fine! Just dont take the tags off Toooo many clothes incase u end up with loads and want to resell later

@Lisa lol especially as I’m due 4th Feb I’ll be so big and have no energy lol

You don't need to wash them again is my opinion. I have a son born Feb 2022 and second due Feb 2025. After they're washed and put away they will be fine x
