It’s classed as a car seat so it’s not highly recommended to get as second hand unless u can verify it’s not been badly used or been in accident. I’m interested in one too but probably would only get the reclinable ones if I would get one but it’s 500+ 😟 and I’ve already just purchased a bugaboo fox 5 full size pram so gonna hold out first and see if it’s REALLY worth it. I don't rate them. Baby isn't supposed to be in a car seat for more than 30 mins at a time as a newborn , and 2 hours ince they're older, so they're pretty pointless , really. Recommendation is to lie flat when not in the car x
My pram / travel system (Nuna Mixx) actually comes with a car seat attachment so no need to take them out of the car seat if you’re literally just nipping somewhere (following the timing guidelines of course!) so worth checking that too xx
Yea I should mention I did buy a reclinable car seat with my pram so I suspect that’s probably more than enough. Doona would Probs be more suitable as an add on as opposed to ur main pram for all the above reasons as per other mamas? 🤷🏻♀️
I bought an older model in a sale recently as I’d seen good reviews. I’ve since bought a travel system/proper pram though for some flexibility. Unless it’s the newer version which has the lie flat option, it’s essentially a car seat and they can’t be in it for more than 2 hours at a time I don’t think. I reckon it’ll be handy for running errands, going to GP appointments etc, but when playing around with it I did find it quite heavy (I could just be weak though 😂).
