Pram/travel systems

Just wondering what prams and travel systems people are looking at? I’ve looked from the beginning and loved the ickle bubba stomp/atom but then I’ve read some not great reviews about the car seat which is now putting me off a bit. We’re going to have a look over the weekend but if anyone has any recommendations or what they’re looking at it’ll be very much appreciated!

I got a venicci upline for my first. I love the pram and can't fault it but now I'm going to need a double pram. X

I am also getting a Venicci. It’s in a normal price bracket and folds quite small so love it

I have the ickle bubba stomp. I had it with my 1st used the pram & car seat. Didn’t realise the car seat was crap 😂🙈 Kept it for my 2nd but we haven’t used the car seat this time just the pram xx

I got the Ickle bubba travel system with my first! It’s super easy to use/assemble etc what negative comments have you read? I haven’t had issues and the pram is still in very good condition two years on! Its very sturdy, stable and planning to use it now with my daughter

Personally, I won’t be buying another travel system. I bought the Venicci upline and ended up changing the car seat 4 months in as it was small, looked unsafe and wasn’t the most user friendly. The pram itself is good, but it’s very very heavy and harder to steer, bulky etc to move when folded and I just hate it after using another pram now. I got a big 360 seat that lasts till he’s much much older. I also bought a travel pram and we use that daily (only use the venicci for dog walks) because it’s so much lighter and easier to get in and out the car.

I had the Ickle bubba stomp also, used it for my first and my second and had absolutely no issues with it! Due our third and there’s a smaller age gap so will need a double but still have the stomp if it’s ever just me and baby going out x

Thank you girls! It’s only a really recent thing that I’ve seen on reviews saying the pram is great but the car seat doesn’t recline as much and baby ends up chin to chest which is less than ideal when travelling. Will go and have a look this weekend and see what it’s like in person!x

We had the joie versatrax and loved it ! It's so so sturdy and good for all terrain if you're outdoorsy and reasonably priced aswell x

Cybex Balios S Lux with the Cybex Cloud T car seat

I have a silver cross pioneer Brompton travel system. Bought second hand getting it cleaned professionally, just need to buy a new car seat .

Yes the ickle bubba car seat is very minimally tested and in general offers a very unsafe fit for a newborn. The car seat standards in the UK are shockingly low. You can normally buy the pram but swap out the car seat for a safer brand. Maxi cosi are good x

The ickle bubba stomp comes in a set without the car seat so if you want the pram just get that then buy a safe car seat. I had it with my little boy hated the car seat and I hated the seat unit when he got bigger he look squished even though he’s quite small we ended up getting a stroller when he was 6 months. If I were to get another travel system I’d either get a silvercross or the joie versatrax one but with the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat because I’ve heard it’s universal so fits on any pram and it’s one of the recommended ones!

Buy it all separately! We did Uppababy vista buggy, maxi cosi pebble 360 car seat for example. You can buy adapters if you want to put the car seat on the buggy

I had Ickle bubba stomp and really liked it. Would defo just use it again second time round if I didn’t need a double pram!

We are looking at getting the maxi cosi oxford travel system and comes with their carseat 360 Pro which had really good reviews.

@Jess was the car seat good in this? We are keen for an all terrain bike pram for dog walks

@Jen i loved it were buying another for this baby! I honestly can't fault the pram at all it's a bit heavy but it's incredibly sturdy , massive basket and it's amazing on grass ect x

We’ve ended up doing a complete change and gone for the Joie Finiti and it’s absolutely lovely! Had a test run in store and it folds down quite small as well, looks like there’s some good reviews and comparing the car seat to the ickle bubba one that we initially looked at, I already feel so much happier!

We were gonna go with the joie finiti, extremely good gram system x
