Dna test (UK ONLY)

Right brief info.. dad unstable and a danger.. not going into detail.. police and lawyers where invoid. So dad wants a dna test. I was told to hold off as it will be granted in court when ever he applys for it..... however I have been told a home dna test will not be used as evidence in court. Is this correct? So if I let him do one.. they will disregard it and do another? P.s he is the dad 100%

Id wait for the court one, the home ones arnt as reliable and if he is a danger the slightest doubt the home tests show could put you and baby at risk, hold off till court

@Lauren he sees her in a contact centre... I have to give consent for him to do it while in there.

Just say you want the official court one to ensure theres no doubt and no risk of accusations of tampering go through your lawyers and minimise your contact with him. If he has supervised contact thats fine but for your own safety id just be speaking through lawyers.

@Lauren he wouldn't tamper it.... there is no court case It would be him that does it.. at the centre. Supervise end soon (we pay for it) next steps ate supported in the same centre. I can't afford supervisered forever. But I question is can a at home one be used it court or not

Go through the courts, if dad is a danger you should have already taken these steps to remove both you and the child from harm.

we moved. We don't see him.. she only sees him in a contact centre which is for safety of children. And I don't attend for my safety. I will wait for court!
