School Open Days

Do you have to take your children to School Open Days? I feel like ill just be running after him all the time because he's only just 3 where as obviously some of the other kids will already be 4 so behave alot better.

I went to a school open day yesterday- so glad I didn’t have my children with me! It meant I could focus on what the head teacher said to us during the tour, could ask questions and listen to the answers plus there were 5 of us on the tour so I got to listen to what the other people asked too. Highly recommend not taking child if you have an option for a babysitter

@Rachael that's great thank you! I was hoping I wasn't the only one wanting to go just parents.

Nope, you don’t have to, but I have taken my little boy on the tours we have done so far.

My partner took our just turned 3 year old to one last week and he really enjoyed it. They tend to lay the room out like they would for school so there’s stuff for them to play and do etc.

We had one in the evening which was a presentation then a walk round didn't take the girls. The 2nd one was in the day time took the girls and although yes we had to keep and eye and our attention wasn't 100% they joined in and were running off to play with the other children so made us realise they will be ready for school they would have gone from that day lol.
