Mine is going into nursery at 5.5 months, so 9 months is totally normal. However, if you're not feeling ready yet (I'm nervous too), then it's totally reasonable to consider if it's time for you yet x

No not at all!!! I went back to work 6 months after having my little one (I am self employed) the first weeks a bit hard but you’ll thank yourself for it xx

I sent mine at 10 months. Honestly it was really good for him and me. The other children challenged him and made him come on leaps and bounds. And I got some sanity back, the money helps as well. Xx

Just from working in nurseries I have to say yes it's a bit too early

@Stacey That's interesting as our nursery told us they like to take them earlier as it makes the transition easier, and they also find that their social skins developa bit earlier x

@Elizabeth Between 6 to 9 months a baby is only then realizing they are a separate person from the mother so unfortunately I have seen issues when people have put the child in too soon. The nurseries also would not report these to the parents especially since they wanted the money and some not all babies had more severe separation anxiety. It depends on the child really, this is only what I have experienced though ❤️

@Stacey I started at 4 months and I have really happy memories of nursery. It was right for us x

Also - the nursery we've selected actually takes 20% less than their capacity to make sure that littles are getting enough space and attention so I'm not sure I'm in agreement about them just wanting money

@Elizabeth Aww that's brilliant 🥰 I'm so glad it worked for yourselves. I'm talking about the specific places I worked and they made it clear to us that they wanted them to stay because of the money and didn't want us to report certain things back to the parents. I witnessed issues with being in too early as I mentioned which is what I'm answering based on. No judgement here just answering the posters question with what I have seen and how it affected those children. Xx
