I think I’m being too sensitive
My bf texted his dad basically inviting him to my birthday party. Saying how they are having a dinner for me and his dad responded with “okay” and nothing else. My bf found that odd that he was short with him.
When I invited FIL to my bfs birthday party he told me thank you and that he will be there.
All I get is an “okay” when it’s my birthday.

If hes not normally like that then id say maybe he was busy & wanted to respond so he did & didnt think too much of it. Now if hes always bland and short with you or when it comes to anything about you then thats different 🤷🏻♀️
