Giving a 8/9 month old multivitamins?? Why lol

They should be getting their vitamins from their milk/formula and any solid foods they are eating. Depending on their diet you shouldn’t need to implement any multivitamins. The pediatrician usually recommends vitamin D drops from birth but that’s about it

Not lol, but out of curiosity... why are vitamins needed at this point?

my nicu nurses told me i could give my son multivitamins with iron in so he doesn’t get anemic or something along the lines of that. i also heard of mamas giving their babies vitamin D in their bottles or on the breast while nursing. i used to use the mommy’s bliss brand, but when my son got a little older he hated the taste. i use the brand mary ruths now. they have a while bunch of options and vitamin mixes. we use w medicine bottle to mix the vitamin in with his milk and give it to him in the middle of his feed. if you give it to them too early they might not want to eat after and if you give it after a feed they might be too full to take anything else, but find what works best for you

I am not giving her vitamins now! I am thinking of it because she’s not eating. She’s 100% breast milk and on solids but she’s barely taking food in.

Are you doing purées or BLW?

Am doing both!

I would just try different combinations of food until you find something she likes, also letting her being in her high chair and play with the food should help. My husband and I always make yummy noises and chew very animated to help her understand that she needs to chew and that it’s good! This has helped her a lot and now when she eats she makes “mmm” noises and smacks her lips it’s so funny 😅
