@Daija if you don’t mind me asking what did you end up doing about it I did take him to and ent because he had loud breathing that always sounded like he was congested and one told me he just had a nasal drip then I went to another ent for a second option he said his were slightly big and gave us a nasal spray that we’ve been using but doesn’t seem to make a difference so I wasn’t sure if it’s that or it’s something I should ask to see a pediatric gastroenterologist
We had to got to children’s and after an exam by sticking a camera in his nose and they said he needed them removed because it was obstructing over 85% of his airway. The first ent said nobody will touch him before he turned 2.
@Daija oh ok that makes sense the second ent told us if he doesn’t improve with the nasal spray it may have to be removed but his pediatrician is telling me he’s too young so idk what to do….. did u have it done already? Do u see an improvement?
Yes he got his adenoids removed and ear tubes at the end of August. His reflux is gone only coming back when sick and nowhere near as bad. He’s eating more and sick less. It took 3 months to get the appointment at children’s then 3 months from appointment to surgery.
@Daija thank u for sharing with me
I would try to get an ent appointment. My sons adenoids were blocking his airways and causing more reflux
