I did it back in May while I was still pregnant, I am planning on going back to work September 2025 when my little one will be just 1 so that I can take advantage of the new childcare funding. I would do it as soon as possible if I were you so that you can get on waiting lists to avoid missing out on a place when you need it.
We booked 2 nurseries when I was 12 weeks pregnant as they all get booked up very quickly in the area. Best decision ever! We have a back up option for 3 months later than the first, in case something goes wrong and we don’t like the first option.
I did it while pregnant too. I’d get on it ASAP.
Do it now! I waited untill 12 week before telling the nursery where my son currently goes to. They have three days a week available from March 2026 only! Super busy now with the new funding and not enough nursery spaces

I did it while I was pregnant. Its just one of those things, the sooner you do it the more likely you are to have availability at the nursery you like at the time you want. I booked into my ideal nursery half way through pregnancy and they didn't have availability until my girl will be 13 months. There were other nurseries with availability right away though.
