Am I parenting incorrectly man?

Am I too soft,too harsh? Too bland and introverted? 2yr old just threw the biggest fit of her life She napped in the car for like an hour I stayed in there with her. I turned off the car to which she woke up and she started screaming at the top of her lungs,fought me while I took her out,kicked her crocs off, bought her inside sat her next to me on couch she screamed for 10+ minutes. Finally I picked her up to calm her down on my lap she kept screaming and finally tried to tell me why she was upset all while scratching her skin off!! I didn’t understand her so she kept screaming For another 5min I swear if my neighbors haven’t called the cops I’d be surprised. I can’t imagine had this happened in public. Anyone recommend any books that are good for toddler behavior I feel so un equipped I know toddlers can’t manage their emotions quite yet but I swear my daughter throws bigger tantrums than I think are normal. She did the same thing last night but I thing it was an overtired thing,however there was no reasoning.
