My daughter had her pre school jabs today, I was told the flu vaccine has to be a separate appointment so she’s booked in for next week for that

@Gaynor brilliant thank you, my gp receptionist seemed a bit clueless when I questioned 🙈 How is your daughter doing?

To be fair my gp reception wasn’t too helpful with it all but the nurse told me they won’t do both together. She was absolutely fine, watched the needles go in and didn’t cry, smiled her way out the door but as she was too busy looking at the nurse, she walked into the door frame 😂 so far so good too with no side affects

We had all of them in the same appointment 👍🏻

I dropped my daughter to nursery after too, the nurse did say to give calpol after so if your little one is going nursery then give some calpol.

We had ours in the same appointment too

I got a text from my drs to book her flu vaccination then another text a few days later with an appointment for her pre school jabs xx

My little girl had the pre school ones a few weeks ago. She was a bit under the weather for a couple of days but not too bad. She won’t have the flu one now though 🤦‍♀️

After different receptionist messing me about, I've managed to book both in the same appointment for a few weeks time 😊 thanks everyone!

I was told we could’ve had them at the same time but they didn’t have any of the flu nasal stuff in yet
