Hi! We’ve got this one and the instructions are all on the side, it’s abit of a faff haha x

@Liv hi I have sent u a message xxx

@Liv can u see the message I sent u

Go to a fire station and ask for them to install it. It wont take long and it’s free! They have firemen and women who get certifications for this. It’s a 60 hour class! Our OBGYN office told us about it. They even register the seat for u

Replied xx

If you’ve only just bought this seat I would recommend that you try to return it, they perform very poorly in crash testing unfortunately, I can’t believe they’re allowed to be sold!

Personally wouldn’t put my child in this there so dangerous and minimal tested xx

Personally I would also return this. These ones with the white clips are a rebranded team tex seat that has been minimally tested and the white clips have been known to snap in a crash sending the baby flying!!

@Nicole just from knowing this brand seat I think OP is in the UK, where it's not possible to get it fitted in a fire station and there isn't the same qualification as in the US

I would look on YouTube for install videos!

Oh darn!

YouTube has seat companies and also cpst install videos

@Charley safe kids worldwide is the creator of the cpst program, so yes there are cpsts that are knowledgeable on UK car seats

Car seats for the littles website should have a UK site also

@Elizabeth in the UK it's more common for expert retailers of extended rear facing seats to be trained directly by the manufacturers, rather than having a CPST qualification

@Charley okay! Did not know that

Then I definitely reccomend looking up the company on YouTube. Most car seat companies have a YouTube presence

( Graco, Britax, I would be surprised if joie didn't have a presence ( they are mainly seen on your side of the pond but they just started to breakout into the US market) .... Evenflo probably does ...)

Joie is a really good brand, if you do decide to return this and get a different one

This car seat is a death trap

@Liv if you can lovely, return it. It's one of the most unsafe car seats made. The white clips snap on impact and would not keep your little one safe atall. I don't even know how they are still allowed to sell them🥲

@Symone I feel like such a bad mum, I didn’t even realise any of this. I saw good reviews about it 😭 literally now looking at a new one as we speak 🖤

@Liv you are not a bad mum atall please please don't ever think that!!! I bought a cosatto before I knew anything about car seats and thanks to this app I learnt a lot!! I know so many people who have them, its just a case of getting the word out! Don't beat yourself up about it😘😘 motherhood doesn't come with a Manual unfortunately🙃
