Baby spitting up lots

My baby has always struggled with reflux, has been on kendamil but has been on cow and gate follow on milk from 6 months. He has carobel added to his milk to thicken it to keep it down. This was going pretty well still spitting up here and there but nothing like it was. He’s been on solids from 6 months old having 1 meal a day 2 hours in between his middle bottles. So he has 4x 6oz bottles and a meal in the middle. He stayed at my mams over the weekend and when I picked him up she told me that she had only given him 2 bottles a day (raging!) obviously I’ve gone back to 4 bottles a day because he needs the nutrients from the milk at only 9months old! Since he’s come back he has been spitting a lot and often as well. I’m wondering if there’s any other parents here that have a “sicky baby” or if it’s the change in the amount of bottles messing with his tummy. I’ve booked him in to the doctors because I feel like he shouldn’t be spitting up like this at this age and the fact he’s also on solids now too. Anyone with any similar experience?

Following. I have a "sicky" baby. I saw a HV a few weeks who said it should have settled down by now as she can still be sick 8 - 10 times a day. She was ebf but now on Actimel 4 x 5oz plus 3 meals (hoping to weigh the milk down). Saw the GP who refused to prescribe.me anything and said she'll grown out of it eventually. Would love to know if others have tried something else that works

I would definately get some HV advice. Ring them up and ask for them to come see you. I always had a sicky baby we couldn’t leave the house without spare clothes and he was constantly getting sick on other people. He was still the same when on 1 meal a day but I’d say from 7/8 months now he’s on 2 meals a day it’s completely stopped I hope the end is near for you too!! X

@Sarah can I ask are you doing purées or baby led weaning with proper food? Also how much milk is your baby having per bottle and how many a day? I always wonder if I’m maybe over feeding somehow because he will literally drink milk regardless of how much he never leaves any but I’m reluctant to give anymore because he does sleep through the night and has since 8 weeks so he mustn’t be hungry.
