@Emma Cunningham yes it can lie flat!
We have! 3 months old tomorrow and started using the seat in the past week as we noticed her getting frustrated in the bassinet. Seems so much happier in the seat!
We have made the switch in the past few days! My little boy is only 10 weeks old + 4 but has really good head control and I use the mamas and papas Ocarro and then basically lie almost all the way back. He was screaming every time I used the bassinet so I thought it was time to upgrade 😂 also I think it’s better for his reflux and that’s why he’s more comfortable than being lain completely flat in the bassinet!
We’ve moved to seat and I just bought an insert on Vinted that goes around the straps so his head is more secure. He’s so much happier in the seat!
@Emma oh that sounds great! Do you have a picture of the insert?
We also have a Mamas & Papas Ocarro pram. My LO is 13 weeks and she has almost outgrown the pram bassinet so I will be making the transition to the seat next week. I have played around with it and she seems very happy in the seat, although she looks very small in it! The straps give me some peace of mind that she won't fall out of it. X
It might depend on the pram I'm pretty sure with mine (mamas and papas occaro) they said as it can go pretty much flat it is suitable very early on x
