For younger babies I love my stretchy wrap but it’s a total minefield if you’ve never used one before. I’d really recommend a sling library where you can try before you buy
I got the ergobaby aura carrier. It’s so lovely, easy to put on and my baby loves it
For colder weather we like the Lifft wrap, it’s a stretchy and thick material. For warmer weather we like the Ergobaby Aura
I loved my Freerider when baby was a newborn, then she started getting nosey and I bought a ring sling. I interchange between the two now she's older- if I want her to sleep it's the stretchy wrap, if she doesn't need sleep and we're out and about I'll generally use the ring sling in a hip hold. A friend has one like the Koala Babycare that's kinda structured carrier cross stretchy wrap cross ring sling, which seems pretty useful!
