Child benefit worries

Hi all I applied for my child benefit on the 20th of September when we got our baby registered. I haven’t heard anything from them, no confirmation email or anything. I just have the screen shot saying application for child benefit received. How long did it take for everyone to receive theirs? Im worrying they’ve not recieve it properly as I didn’t receive any confirmation email/text Thanks in advance X

Mine was paid into my bank, long before written confirmation

I've always called and done it over the phone.. idk how it works otherwise. No harm in calling for confirmation xx

I applied on Thursday and received it today. When applying it did say they’d let us know in 28 days if the application has been successful but seems to have been processed much faster x
