Baby monitors

With Amazon prime day I’m looking for baby monitor deals. Does anyone know the best one that’s not 100s+

We just bought a Blink camera! Honestly for the price it’s such good night vision quality https://amzn.eu/d/6gsOqZQ (not technically a baby monitor but we bought for the 3 year olds room).

I personally will be using one with a hand held monitor as I’ve seen some things about people can hack into the ones that connect to phones and can retrieve footage

Id recommend ones not on wifi and that have their own screen x we have the Hello Baby which was under £50 and is ideal x was able to take to Spain with us at a villa xx

We got a very expensive one and it broke quickly so now we use a cheaper one Nooie and works fine

@Madeleine we have a blink (had it 2 weeks) how do you use it as a make shift monitor? I'm sick of the constant clicking from the motion sensor🤣

Thank you everyone!

Am also considering one of these for number 2: https://amzn.eu/d/1kXuSz0 Our first was Motorola but they don’t seem to make them anymore and it broke after 3 years 🫠 The Owlet sock is brilliant and that’s on sale but 💸

@Kiah I don’t think we have motion sensor turned on? 😅 Maybe it’s notification settings! I just go on in the night if I hear her stir to make sure she’s not up. Will have a handheld for baby though not Blink for anyone wondering

We have used a vtech one with our daughter since she was born (she’s 3 next month) and will continue to use it for our March baby! It’s been amazing. I can’t find our exact model on Amazon but this one looks to be an upgrade on it https://amzn.eu/d/6kpVBLV

@Madeleine possibly using it wrong as I have it on to watch my cats and dog🤣 Good shout though will save me some ££ 🥰

@Kiah I mean I think that’s what it was designed for 😂🫣

@Madeleine hahah who knows! As long as it's a camera I suppose you can't really go wrong 😋

We’ve just done exactly the same thing and bought the v tech VM919HD. If you make a baby wish list on Amazon and add it to that you get another 15% off and a free gift! We’ve gone for a free nappy bin. Our extra 15% off wasn’t working but they’ve said they’ll refund 15% once it’s delivered. So one originally £150 will be about £84
