Rapid cool or prep machine

Hi mamas who formula feed. We've been using ready to drink but now it's getting too expensive and we'd like to move to powder. As it's prime day, loads of gadgets are on offer on Amazon that help with prepping the formula. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've heard good things about both the nuby rapid cool and the baby brezza machine. I'm not sure if we should buy 1 or the other, both, or a couple of rapid cools instead of the 1prep machine. Any insights or expertise appreciated Xx

I have the rapid cooler and me and my partner loves it. A bottle is ready within 2 mins. We use it at home and when we are out and about all we do is take a flask of bottled water with us. I would highly recommend the rapid cooler xx

I have the rapid cool and prep machine honestly best thing I have purchased with the prep through night it is so easy and you don’t need to do anything apart from putting the powder in and shaking it then we use the rapid cool if we are staying at family’s or are out

We have both Nuby Rapid Cool and a Prep machine - both amazing!

I have a tommee tippee prep machine for at home and the rapidcool for out and about.

I use the rapid cool for all bottles and love it, super easy! I do recommend getting the 2 pack though if they're on offer.

@Amy how do you sterilise the rapid cool? X

We have both the prep machine and the rapid cool but think our rapid cool is faulty as it didn’t change from green the one time we used it. But our prep machine is a game changer, I know they’re not NHS recommended but it’s so handy so I’d suggest looking into it!

@Evie our rapidcool is doing similar. Never changes from green. But I did put boiling water directly to lid and checked and it was yellow. So clearly it does work but I’m only putting 4oz feeds in so wondering if that’s why.

Perfect prep for at home and rapid cool for out and about!

We didn’t get on with our prep machine as it made our little girl really gassy/suffer with trapped wind!

@Jess either using the Milton cold water tablets or we use the hot shot method so the rapid cool only has water in it
