Black stool?
Everything online says internal bleeding. Before I scare myself too much, I wanted to know if anyone else experienced this? He is playing just fine, fussy from teething. But had a really dark bowel movement earlier

@Jess he has been taking some consultation ease once a day and Tylenol every 6 hours cause he has four teeth coming in. The constipation ease is a dark liquid
Has he had any medicine, food, candy, drink etc. with a blue or green dye in it?
Bananas recently?
My son had really dark poops because of blueberries he had for breakfast
If nothing in his diet has changed, I would call the pediatrician. I’ve gone through a lot of digestive issues with my son and I remember the doctor always saying black or red stool is a cause for concern. Not trying to scare you, just want the little one to be okay!!

Could be from something that he ate or medicine also. Did he eat a new food recently? You can try to google if that food can cause dark stool. If nothing online helps your pediatrician may have an on call nurse that would be able to advise over the phone.
