Constipation problems - Colief help?!

I don’t know where to start - we have done it all - today we saw an osteopath for my baby as he had quite a traumatic birth and has problems pooing. He was breast fed but was fussy on the boob - stopped feeding caught a viral infection and got antibiotics. He is not 10 weeks old and been through a lot. Found out he is tongue tied and had that cut. We have switched him to formula - cow and gate comfort as he had a bad rash and reaction with Kendamil. But he is having massive gas and constipation problems. We do give him Infacol twice a day. Is Colief any better? I have heard good things especially if baby ia formula fed as it breaks down the formula to make less sugar in it. Will it help with constipation? 💩 please help!

Poor little mite, and you. Any chance he has an intolerance?

Give infacol with every feed to start with. Colief works differently to infacol as they have different active ingredients so I’d stick with the infacol for a week or so at every feed before changing

I would definitely try probiotics x

Colief and infacol done nothing for us, colief actually made his tummy worse: we find dentinox was our saving grace! He’d also on a cows milk allergy formula as at 13 weeks started developing the symptoms and now he seems like he’s digesting his food much better whereas we were really suffering before. The “ILU” tummy massage was really helpful for him too alongside the usual bicycle legs and warm baths with warm compress on tummy x
