A cordless dyson vacuum cleaner They come with several attachments, including a brush for animal hair.

I have the Shark anti hair wrap, the cordless one and I’m very happy with it. It works well on our laminate floor and the carpet and rugs. We also have a cat and three people with long hair in the house and it seems to cope well!

I've used a friend's cordless Dyson and it wasn't all that and the battery needed charging soooooo often and for soooo long it was just abit of a nightmare really! @Fatima

Lisa, I looked at those but then was put off by some bad reviews and that mentioned especially the suction and the weight of it on the wrist, and I don't have strong wrists

Shark stratos anti hair wrap, absolutely love it, got 18 months twins and almost 7 y old , so it's wonderful, and it's cordless, 60 min baterry last 😊

Miele c3. It lifts our carpet in the middle of the room 😂😂😂 I've had it for 6 years and it's still going strong Cordless ones will never have same suction, the motor is not strong enough (I spent days looking for such cordless and it's impossible)

@Kristine , really? I heard few people say that. It might depend on the version. I was always able to do my entire home without charging it. I just return it to the base when I'm done to charge it before the next use. 3 years, and it is still going strong.. Shark is a good brand. Maybe you can go to a shop and test it so you don't have to order and return.

@Lisa have recently got this too and can’t fault it. Great battery power!

@Lisa I have this too. All types of floor and a ragdoll cat. It's amazing. I just find it heavy x
