Baby got smaller
I went to my growth scan today and was told that my baby has got smaller. I was sent home with a Doppler appointment, I am so upset and stressed with this news. Has anyone else had this experience?

Your baby can't get smaller. They may have slowed down growth or dropped percentile but it's impossible for them to shrink. I had this at one scan where they said growth had slowed, went back for the doppler and growth scan a week later and baby was " back to normal" . Scans can inaccurate , and they put it down to human error! X
Currently going through the same, said she is too small & have a scan in two weeks time, but I’m not worried they always get weights wrong. My sister had the same a few weeks ago, said he was too small & his stomach had shrunk, she had a 7.2lbs baby 2 weeks early, so defo wouldn’t have been small if she went full term x

I don’t know how far along you are babe but my baby was slow at growing at 20 weeks I was 14% centile and he shot up to 41% just 2 weeks later. They can’t always measure accurately at all, so don’t panic. They have massive growth sperts in 2nd /3rd trimester just make sure you’re upping your calories xx
