baby poo
my lb diddnt poo for 3 days so went to A&E and got prescribed some lactoluse he had a poo 3 days later but he hasn’t been since and now it’s been 6 days so he’s had 1 poo in about 2 weeks
ped said breastfed babies can sometimes go up to a week without pooing but now as it’s been 6 days again i’m unsure wether to call 111 tomorrow or wait a couple more days ?

My little boy was on lactulose for 2 weeks and he's been off it for a while now and goes once/twice every 3-4 days. He's formula fed. I think it's just his normal. Does your baby seem distressed/straining?
not sure if this is still an issue now but babies can have an oz of cooled boiled water per day if they’re constipated! my health visitor fed my baby girl some water at 3weeks old and it helped so much x

It's an absolute myth that BF babies don't poo as often. Babies should poo daily. It can be common they they don't, but it's not normal and it's important to try and work out the route cause. May be worth seeing a lactation consultant or your local infant feeding team x
